Mars rocks
Mars has many craters, canyons, and mountains. The geography of Mars includes the largest volcanic mountain in the solar system, Olympus Mons. Olympus Mons is 600 kilometers across its base and about 25 km above the surrounding plain. There are volcanoes in the northern Tharsis region that are so huge they deform the planet's roundness.

Large Canyon SystemsEdit

The Martian surface has some large canyon systems. The largest is Valles Marineris, which extends aboout 5000 km, is 500 km in the widest portions, and as much as 6km deep.
